Dr. Joyce graduated from the University of Sydney in 2013 and then worked in small animal private practices in Canberra for three years. In 2017, she completed a multi-discipline internship in medicine, surgery, ophthalmology and emergency. She went on to complete an internal medicine internship and subsequently an internal medicine residency at Small Animal Specialist Hospital, Sydney. She is a Member and Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) in small animal internal medicine. She has published papers on feline hyperthyroidism and myopathy in a cat. In addition, Dr. Joyce has served on the membership examiner panel for the ANZCVS. She has special interests in managing gastrointestinal diseases, hematological and immune-mediated disorders. 

Dr. Joyce recognises the importance of helping pet owners understand the details of their pet’s conditions. She is passionate about patient care and is dedicated to working closely with owners to achieve the best care for her patients. She is keen in providing continual education for veterinary students, general practitioners and referring clinicians, to ensure that optimal care is always provided to our patients.
