Anaesthesia & Pain Management at VSH

General anaesthesia or sedation is required when your pet undergo surgical or certain diagnostic procedures. Many of our patients have multiple medical conditions and may have an increased risk of complications. These patients usually require additional testing prior to general anaesthesia and/or require additional monitoring while under anaesthesia. We offer specialized consultations and monitoring in anaesthesia and critical care through our VSH Anaesthesia Service. Pain management at VSH is actively integrated into the treatment of all cases to ensure your pet's comfort.
