State-of-the-Art Internal Medicine Equipment

VSH Hong Kong is amongst the most advanced and well-equipped veterinary medical hospitals in the region.  Our state-of-the-art veterinary medical facility in Wan Chai includes the very same medical equipment found in human hospitals throughout the world, including a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), fluoroscopy (C-ARM), and digital radiography.

The internal medicine department is equipped with 7 flexible endoscopes with high-resolution video and 5 rigid scopes for laparoscopy and thoracoscopy.  A state-of-the-art, high-resolution ultrasound machine is routinely used to perform abdominal and thoracic imaging, along with non-invasive biopsy and aspiration procedures.  A high-resolution digital fluoroscopy system enables procedures such as gastrointestinal/esophageal motility evaluation as well as numerous other interventional treatments and procedures.

VSH Hong Kong utilizes digital patient information technology, including a tablet-based treatment system to provide the most complete and thorough care possible for your pet.    

VSH Hong Kong treats patients who are referred to us by their family veterinarians.  Referral is not needed for patients with true emergencies, for which we are staffed 24 hour per day, 7 days per week.  Specialists may be contacted during overnight, weekend, and holiday hours, at the discretion of our emergency doctors.

Getting There

Below are some of the bus routes that have stops close by to VSH:

  • New World Bus:  15, 23, 66, 101
  • City Bus:  1, 5X, 6, 10, 75, 101, 111, 115, 182, 789

MTR : VSH is just 5 minutes walk from WAN CHAI MTR EXIT A3. When you walk out of exit A3, cross the pedestrian crossing then turn left. Walk along Johnston Road until you reach Wan Chai Road. Continue along Wan Chai Road until you reach Fubon Bank. We are right next to it.
