Dr. Andrea graduated from University of Milan in 2014 and worked in a busy first opinion hospital in West London for almost two years where he developed an interest in small animal internal medicine and oncology. He completed one year rotating small animal internship at Dick White Referrals in Suffolk (UK) and worked as an oncology clinician at the University of Glasgow for a brief period. In 2017 he entered a three-year residency program in Small Animal Medical Oncology at the University of Cambridge. After completing his residency, he worked for the University of Bristol’s Langford Vet Hospital and Bristol Vet Specialists, where he worked in a large multi-disciplinary team delivering chemotherapy, oncological surgery and radiotherapy. He was awarded the title of Specialist of the European College of Internal Medicine (Oncology) in 2023. 

Dr. Andrea has contributed to veterinary literature and published on international scientific journals and lectured at international congresses on veterinary oncology in Europe. Dr. Andrea has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of haematopoietic malignancies and is cultivating an interest in interventional oncology.

Dr. Andrea loves all dogs, however he lives with a cat Maine Coon called Luca, which he treats like a small dog. He enjoys teaching and inspiring young veterinarians interested in oncology and is available for advice over the phone for complicated oncological cases.
